It's all good

My house is totally trashed, but that’s okay. It was too nice a holiday weekend to care. Why?

I came back online to find congrats on 72 Hours being nominated for a CAPA award! I’m wicked thrilled, and :boogie: :boogie: :boogie:! And Mandy and Jaci are on there, too! :boogie:

Happy release day, Jaci! Y’all need to run out and grab a copy of Surviving Demon Island! It’s wicked awesome—the action and the sexual tension will have you on the edge of your seat! Jaci worked incredibly hard on this book, and it shows, so while you’re exchanging gifts, keep an eye out for it and grab it up!

We had a nice day trip to Maine. There’s nothing like six boys shredding wrapping paper. :hide: That’s my tall kid on the far left, obviously, and my short kid in the middle in the blue and white. And those are my four most awesomest nephews! This is my favorite picture from this Christmas—not one of the six is making a goofy face, and that’s quite an achievement for this crowd! (We’ve received news that brother’s fiance is expecting a boy. My poor mother’s never going to get to buy pink frills for her grandbabies.)

I got my vacuum! :boogie: Just the one I wanted. And I got a digital photo frame. Every time I look up, a different one of my favorite pictures is being displayed. I’d seen them in stores and kind of dismissed them, but I can’t express how cool they actually are. PotC 2, which we got to finally watch last night. Happy me, happy hubby and happy kids.

Now to work my ass off in preparation for the New Year’s goals.

I have ms revs and page proofs to finish up, but KISS ME DEADLY is sitting at the tippity-top of my TBR. Can’t wait to read it!

Congrats again on the great news for 72 HOURS!

    :cheer:

Congrats on your CAPA nomination, babe. 72 Hours is such a kickass book and definitely deservating of the nomination. One of my favorite reads of 2006.

And thank you for mentioning SDI!

 Congrats on the CAPA nomination. It’s very well deserved!

Glad you got your vaccum for Christmas. I got one too, only mine is the little silver Dirt Devil Scorpion, I think My Guy was trying to tell me something, although I wanted one. Yes, I can be messy while eatting. First thing I’m cleaning is the  out of the keyboard.

Love the picture of all the boys. I guess in this instance, the saying “Let their mothers worry.” (about the teenage girls ) applies.
