November rerun

Well…between illness and chaos, I’m so far behind it ain’t even funny. This week: husband’s birthday yesterday, the short kid’s birthday Wednesday, Thanksgiving Thursday, and going north on Friday for the weekend. So my catching up is running smack into a fresh week’s insanity and I feel like I’m in some kind of demented time warp.

Strangely enough, here’s my entry from November 15th of last year, titled “Under Quarantine”, the same used in my most recent post:

Please send coffee.

The tall kid’s down with the flu. I cannot say BLECH emphatically enough. The short kid has a nasty cold and a raging case of hysterical panic about his big brother due to the news saturation regarding the bird flu.

He’s gonna diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

So, I had to call the mom of the kid who comes over in the morning and rides to school with us so she could make other arrangements for tomorrow, and now we’re all barricaded in with bucket, tissues, and leather cleaning wipes.

Brother, can you spare a Dorito?

Next November, I’m wrapping my house in one of those ET-esque bio-bubbles. For now…onward.

Weird! I hope you’re feeling better now, Shannon. And I can totally relate and sympathize with the snowed-under feeling. I’m there, too! Gah!!

Sickness does tend to be seasonal. I’m behind due to sickness and chaos, too, but I’m catching up fast. :type: Hope you do, too!

Feel better, all of you!

Can’t help the snowed under feeling. I’m right there with you and buried in the tall drifts. :hide:

I’m glad to see you back in blogland…I was ready to bug Jaci, to make sure you were surviving your illness…a bubble could work next year but think of all the work getting it set up…

Happy Birthday to hubby and son…we have a slew of family birthdays in November too, I guess Valentines really is the season for love…

As for your busy week…just do what you have to do and the rest will fall into place next week when you are feeling a bit more strong…

It’s going to take more :coffee:, but I’m getting there.

On the good news front, it’s almost :sled: season, so I’ll be getting more time to myself in the near future to :type:
