Falling behind

So I didn’t get my free read done in time to meet PBW’s challenge. Stuff came up—both writing and non-writing—that slipped into higher slots on the priority list, and I needed another day with it. I’ll still finish it and post it…just not today.

Along with a whole lot of crap rearing up and biting me in the butt, I feel like crud. I have for days and it’s only stubbornness keeping me from giving in. (Well, that and the fact the couch has been turned into Radiator Springs and is covered with Cars toys so I don’t have any place to curl up and be miserable.)

Later I’ll post a pic of the short kid and the pumpkins they labored SO HARD at carving. (*big eye roll here*)

In the meantime, if you need more spookiness in your day, run and get Kiss Me Deadly! What could be better on Halloween than a werebird?

I’m waiting for that story of yours! Sorry you’re a little late on the challenge. Life does get in the way at times.

Well, the damn thing keeps growing. It’s supposed to be a short story, but…:baby:

Oh for the love of God, Shan….finish the damn thing already! :whip:

And feel better. Would you like a hot toddy in your iced coffee? :coffee:

And where the hell are you, dammit?
