I can’t believe the kids start school on Wednesday. We’ve bought…nothing. Nada. I guess y’all know what I’ll be doing Tuesday. :lmao: The tall kid and I have been trying to wean ourselves off the summer sleep schedule, but it’s not working overly well. We’re both going to be in shock come Wednesday when he has to be at school an hour earlier than he did last year.
So I got my proposal for my western off to one of my editors the other day, so I’m doing a mini to-do list, trying to organize things in my head:
—Edits for Interstellar Sparks
—Nervously anticipate edits for Kiss Me Deadly
—Finish proposal for Full Throttle
—Work on finishing off Rise of the Warlord—this one is particularly daunting. It’s an incredibly deep and vivid movie in my head, and I’m trying to layer in the details in order to capture that on the page.
—Write like hell on a couple of special projects
—Maybe start doing some school shopping
And a billion things not writing-related.
(It’s almost 8:30 and the boys aren’t up yet. Considering the tall kid will have to be at school by 7:15 come next Wednesday, we’re in for a struggle.)

Want me to start calling you early in the morning? :lmao:
Nice to do list. Starting to look a lot like mine. :whip:

Having a long to do list beats the alternative. Can’t wait to hear the news on your western! Yippee-ki-ay.

I got tired just reading all of that. Have you cut relaxing out of your life completely or something?
And, just how many books do you have coming out? Looks like a huge number – Congrats :thumb:

It definitely beats the alternative, Charli. :thumb:
Books coming out…
Kiss Me Deadly (the book formerly known as Werebird) on Oct 3 from Samhain, and then two from EC which don’t have release dates yet: Interstellar Sparks, which is a fun and very naughty futuristic quickie, and Rise of the Warlord, which is a erotic fantasy and part of the special Torrid Tarot theme.
While I’ve got irons in the fire, those three are contracted. :cheer:
