We’ve got EEE and West Nile Virus in NH. Do I hear Bird Flu for the hat trick? Joy.
The Red Sox are 6 1/2 games out. Double joy.
And I don’t know what the hell is going on with my writing process. Since I started Kiss Me Deadly, I’ve only been able to get the words to flow longhand. Now, I know the answer is “Whatever gets the words down”, but it’s driving me mad. Like most of us, I type substantially faster than I write, and even though the transcription of written pages to the computer is often a first editing pass, it’s still slower and I’m writing everything twice.
In the past, writing longhand was reserved for those times when I didn’t have access to the computer or, if I was truly stuck, a way to reconnect with the creativity. Nothing beats longhand for that. But honestly, I’ve got a lot on my writing plate, and I need…
:type: not :write:
And triple joy for the hat trick. :lmao:

I still write quite a bit longhand. Especially when Im stuck or in a rut.

Hey Shannon, I’ve got that very same problem. Worse…lol, I’m not sure I can read my own crappy handwriting!:hide:

I would be so screwed if I had to handwrite. On the bright side, at least you’re writing.

They’re doing another spray for EEE in my area today, I think. We haven’t gotten the West Nile though, though they say that the mosquitos that tested positive for the virus were they type that only bite birds, so there’s some hope.
I don’t wanna talk about the Sox. Ugh.
I haven’t handwritten anything out in a while, but that’s the way I used to do it to write papers. There’s just something about sitting with a notebook, curled up on the couch.
Now, I’m always on the couch with the laptop, so I guess were I writing, I probably wouldn’t write it out.
But as Charli said, at least you’re writing!
