Crossing my fingers

I might update my version of WordPress tonight, since I’m still running 1.5.

I think—and I could be wrong—that the amount of spam correlates to my site outages, and I’m told upgrading will give me better spam options, so…

If you never see me again, you’ll know where I went. :lmao:

Update: You know, I fear WordPress updates more than I feared childbirth. No doubt why I’m still running 1.5. But I can honestly say that giving birth to my second child took less time and caused less mental and emotional trauma than upgrading from 1.2 to 1.5. And while a pain in the ass is only slightly better than a pain in the ya-ya, I’d rather I was going into labor later tonight than planning an upgrade. Plus, the nurse gave me an M&M sundae when the short kid was delivered. WordPress doesn’t give me ice cream.

Another update:  And it’s going quite well, assuming this is the ONLY entry you want to read.  Stay tuned.

I’m running 2.0.2 right now and the new version is 2.0.3 and as long as it will take me to back up everything on my website (not just the blog) I think I’m going to wait until I finish the new design and update then.

Good luck tonight. I hope you’re around tomorrow.

Poor Shan. :lmao: Good luck with the upgrade, and if I were you I’d buy a few cartons of Ben and Jerry’s to get through it.
