Squealing like a girl!

Look what I got!

We just happened to swing into the bookstore—a mere two days after the disappointment there—and it was there! On the shelf! I ran into like 3 people trying to get all the way back to the magazine section with it to show my husband. Even my kids were impressed.

Not so impressed that the short kid was willing to pose with just my book, of course. He had to show off his new Thomas book, too.

I keep groping it. :lmao: Feeling the cover, rubbing the pages…and channeling Robin Williams in Ferngully: “It’s a…MIRacle!”

    Babe! :cheer:

I’m picturing you running through the store, knocking over people. . .which is interesting considering I have no idea what you look like. Aside from the Dorothy Hamill ‘do, that is.

Majorly impressed, here, with these books getting into bookstores. For a small, new pub that’s HUGE.

And what is it with men in the mag section? That’s where I always find the husband whenever we get separated in Wal-Mart. . .

:cheer: It’s booo-ti-ful! I’m so happy you found it and can grope it at will.

I actually went to the mall with the family on Friday and went into Borders and looked for it on my own, then asked the clerk. When she said, “I’m afraid we don’t have it,” I felt like asking her :wtf: was wrong with this store? Now, if we’d have went to the REAL mall, I may’ve been able to grope it.:cursin:

I’m so chuffed for you. You’ve waited so long for this. Enjoy it, revel in it and don’t stop smiling or writing.:clap::clap:

Congrats on being able to hug it and grope it and smell it and flip through the pages and feel the wind on your face and kiss and well, all that stuff.

I went to Borders Sat, but they didn’t have it yet. *pout*
I’ll go next month or so and harrass them for it!
