The husband’s away, so I thought I’d sneak a little time in this morning catching up on some of the blogs listed at Romancing the Blog. And I found a review of Forever Again at Don’t Talk, Just Read!
I loved Shannon Stacey’s Twice Upon a Roadtrip – the humor, the passion, the sheer fun. I bought Forever Again the second it went on sale. Just didn’t quite get around to reading it. Now I have. Well, let me say this. In her first two published books, Shannon Stacey has shown that she is a very versatile author. Twice Upon a Roadtrip was a zany, madcap adventure. Forever Again is a painful, yet surprisingly uplifting story of second chances.
Y’all know I was a little nervous about my second release being so radically different from my first, so it’s nice to see that readers aren’t holding it against me. I’ve gotten several emails from readers saying they enjoyed both, and no complaints so far. It’s a huge relief. Which, of course, frees me up to obsess about something new.
This is one of my favorite reviews of Forever Again yet, but I can’t really excerpt more. (The rest of it can be read at the link above. It’s below the review of Cheryl Holt’s book.) I will say that frustrating the hell out of people is one of my more natural talents. At least my family’s not suffering alone. :lmao:
And she mentioned something about the books that I hadn’t seen anybody else mention yet.

Shannon, I’m glad you enjoyed the review. I enjoyed the book. Well done. Do me a favor, though, and give Travis a slap upside the head for daring to treat his woman like that even for a moment. What’s next?
