A post and run

Crazy busy today. Kids, vets, and a truck not holding oil pressure. Ducky.

But Forever Again has been receiving some fabulous reviews, and I’m going to try to get that all updated later today. I need to make some changes on the sidebar, too. And update a few things. Plus I have 22 days until my deadline for 72 Hours, although I’m still hoping to turn it in sooner. The hero was originally meant to be Italian, but once he really came alive, his voice was totally American. So I have pages and pages of dialogue with the stiffer, more formal rhythm of somebody for whom English is a second language. Totally dorky and must be fixed. And there’s one scene I still can’t read with sobbing, so editing it’s a bit of a challenge. And that’s what I’ll be up to. Writing, editing, and basking in the glow of awesome reviews that I hope to get posted pretty soon.

Oh, and as for today’s RTB column, I wasn’t sure if calling Wayne a dumbass would get me in trouble with Kate and Charlie, so I’m just going to ignore him over there. I don’t think I could comment without using the word dumbass repeatedly. But it’s obvious somebody needs some attention.

Snerk. I could feel my eyes rolling back in my head as I read it.

I thought about it and then figured it wasn’t worth the time it’d take to reply. :wtf:

Ah, Shan, I have sobbing scenes, too! Challenging to read while dripping tears over the keyboard…

Woah. Having a big :wtf: about that RTB post. Because, of course, those behaviours are solely the precinct of women….

Yes, men never do that. Especially not the ATV or snowmobiling forums we frequent.

One thing I’ve found to be true in my wanderings is that women are a little more…passive aggressive? A little more snide, with veiled insults. The men are like “Dude, you suck! Go be an asshole somewhere else.”

It was the porn thing that pissed me off. :baby: But I took it well. Really. I’ll be first in line to buy his next book.

    :lmao:
