Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to Maine we go…

We’re heading out this afternoon to my sister’s house in Maine for Christmas Round 1. Six boys all—except for the tall child—five and under. Can you see the flying wrapping paper? It’ll be a great time. We love visiting, and nothing beats Christmas with small children. Plus she’s making pizza.

:thumb:

Plus we’re going to try to take a “nice” picture of the six boys. I’ll try to remember to ask if she minds if I post it.

Tomorrow is Christmas Round 2 with the family here. It seems to start earlier and earlier every year, so for all I know it’s a breakfast affair. (No, not really, but 1:00 is too early for Christmas Eve if you ask me, which nobody does, and I’m not going to complain, because NO, I’m sure as hell not going to host it.)

Then Christmas Round 3 on Sunday at home when I get to open THE BOX! The box that I have not shaken, lifted the tape on, nor found the receipt for.

I’ve been really good about that box, Santa.

At least if you’re in Maine, you can’t peek at the box! :)

Merry Christmas, Shan, hope Santa is good to you! :penguin:

It was really nice visit, and a long, slow, death-defying drive home through rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow. But we made it.

    Merry Christmas!
