I started off my Monday with a contract from Samhain Publishing for 72 Hours. It’s a romantic suspense which I don’t have a blurb for yet. We’re very, very tentatively looking at spring, so I’ve got a little room with my deadline, and plus it’s the first in a series, so :woot:
I didn’t get the Walmart Black Friday laptop. We came very, very close, but the bottom line came down to believing in the “You get what you pay for” adage. But a new desktop has been bumped up to a high priority (for the business) and I manage to mention laptops at least twice a day, so the husband will end up buying me one just to shut me up eventually. That’s how he got his first ATV—he researched and discussed them so incessantly I eventually lost it and started screaming “Will you just go :censor: buy one already!” So he did. It works for us.
Back to work for me. I’ve got business filing this morning and errands this afternoon, so I’ll be doing my writing longhand in front of the TV tonight.
