The day's minor amusements

Kind of a blah day, due to the short kid’s stomach bug. He started in at 8:00 am, demanding pizza when he wasn’t even keeping applesauce and Saltines down. Stubborn little cuss. And I have no idea where he gets it from.

American Idol: The Russian kid kicked some Idol butt tonight. Didn’t think he had it in him. And while Bo’s been a fave all along, the guy hasn’t left his safety zone. Adios.

The Amazing Race: Boston Rob is just…delicious.

The Shield: The best show ever written, and it unfortunately jumped the shark with the Armenian money train robbery, I fear. I’m struggling to not wander away.

The trip to the grocery store for something I could pass off as pizza, but only containing rice, apples, bananas or toast: No luck. BUT! I did get Jo Leigh’s Blaze, Hush and Stephanie Feagan’s Bombshell, $how Her The Money!

They both have awesome covers. H/S has been putting out some seriously good ones lately. And the cover for Hush is one of the hottest—if not THE hottest—cover I’ve ever seen on a book. Yowza!

Yeow, that is hot! You need a fainting emoticon.

I found the right music for my music-less WIP yesterday and now things are clicking along! :type: (Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell, Social Distortion.) I started looking harder after your music post. Glad I did!

Oh I want to get Steph’s book. I remember wanting it to sell so badly when it was Funny Money! I can’t wait to read it!

Oh, and uhmm YUMMY I agree about Boston Rob!

Wooohooo, Charlene! Clicking along is good. Especially if you’re :type: along through the :nookie: parts.

I didn’t see the cowboy one. I’ll have to go back.

And I liked the title Funny Money, too. But the new one works better in the series, I guess.

I’m trying to be good and keeping the new books out of site while I finish the half-dozen I have lying around already started. They’re GREAT books, too, but I seeming to be suffering from some kind of reading ADD lately.
