Interesting linkage

A new industry blog, Authorsredroomblog, has an interesting post today about reviews, promotion, and whether or not those pricey RT ads are worth the cost.

I wouldn’t know, but if you do, you should go tell them so then I can go back and read the comments and I’ll know, too.

I’m doing RT advertising. I believe it’s worth it. I have bought countless books that I would not have otherwise noticed or known about without the RT reviews, and it takes an ad to guarantee that your book gets reviewed. It’s not so much the rating as the description of the book that has convinced me to take chances on new authors. The first ebook I wanted to read I would never have known about if the author didn’t have an RT ad.

Hmmmm…definitely something to consider. Of course, I might not want to be eating or drinking anything when I go find out the price. :baby:

I’m confused about this blog. is one person writing it or a group of authors? Are they going to identify who writes each post? And do they think maybe they should take the edit me link out of the sidebar and use paragraphs rather than writing one long hard to read entry. *snark* :eyebrow:

I need a demon smiley. Why isn’t there a demon smiley? Or non-smiley as the case may be.

I’m not sure who it is. It showed up on RTB, so me, being nosy as hell, checked it out. Being the turtle that I am, I need all the promo advice I can get.

Demon smiley? I’ll see what I can do. :type:
