White walls, blue rug

There was way too much purple going on around here.

I like white. Lots and lots of white. Maybe it’s a military upbringing. I don’t know. Former conversations:

The husband: What colors should we use in the hallway?

Shannon: White walls, blue rug.

(He chose a very, very pale icy mint green–very nice)

The husband: What colors should we use in the bedroom?

Shannon: White walls, blue rug.

(He chose a plum carpet, with very, very pale purple walls. The green and the purple on the walls are so pale they look almost white in certain lighting, but seen together with the door open they look like sherbet. *g* Good thing we don’t have any girls, because pink would be too much.)

So now there’s more decorating to do…

Fabulously talented web designer: What are you looking for?

Shannon: I don’t know. Lots of white space.

Fabulously talented web designer: What colors do you like?

Shannon: I don’t know. But lots of white space.

Frankly, it’s a good thing I have help or my entire life would look like a mental hospital.

Anyway, tomorrow I think I’ll hit on one of my favorite subjects–antagonists. But for now I just had to get rid of the purple.

Now I’ll go to bed so the cats can sniff my Aquafreshed breath all night.

Update: I’ve discovered that reading Sasha’s site for a while, then returning here may result in temporary blindness.

I should probably just sit back and watch what you do with your site for awhile before I even think of a design. As often as you’re changing things, I’m getting a feel for what works, LOL!
