My entry’s up at Romancing The Blog.
And I’m swearing like mad at IE over here. I hear that not only is the comment box running away, but the links don’t line up right and disappear and reappear when scrolling (sounds like the IE Peekaboo bug, darnit), but even worse, half my bio is hiding under the menu. Since it looks okay on my IE, this should be fun to fix. Yipee-kay-ay. Maybe I should just make the bio a blog entry, then link to the permalink thingie instead of using the static pages. At least nobody’s going to rip off my design. “Hey, I want a really screwy site like Shannon!”
In happier news, I told my mom I sold a book. She cried. It was very sweet. (When one has a younger sister who suffered horribly from Middle Child Syndrome throughout one’s childhood, one does not steal the thunder of the birth of her fourth child by announcing one sold a book.)

When I look at my WP blog in IE? If I have any blockquotes? The colored block part runs over the words until I scroll back and forth. I think IE and WP just aren’t compatible.
And if you want me to rip off another site for you, just let me know! (hehehehe)

Shannon….the links look fine in IE. The bio looks fine in IE. The reasons
your text box is under the links box when you go to leave comments (I’m guessing since I once had a similiar problem) is because you need to clear the damned DIV’s
I’m switching to mozilla and I’ll post it for you.

Unfortunately because IE’s so old (and made by microsoft) it’s not compliant with many of the standards for CSS. Having said that, your layout looks fine when I loaded it in IE, maybe you’ve fixed it.
Congrats on selling your book

Please work. Please.
Hey! The box didn’t widen. Wooohoooo!
Cece was kind enough to send me some info on absolute positions vs. floats, and I moved to the Gemini layout, and all seems well. So far. The bio page should be back soon, but since I changed the css and index sheets, I have to patch that up.

May I just say that I think you’re bloody brilliant for continuing to work with this html and CSS stuff? I finally threw up my hands in temporary defeat on my template- the blog runneth over
But you continue to persevere. You go Shan! I’m shaking my pom-poms for you (side note to Charlie: not THOSE pom-poms you perv!)
