Jillian Delaney has a problem with acting impulsively. When she finds out she hasn’t been granted the job promotion she wanted, she storms off and dings up a car belonging to sexy Ethan Cooper — the son of the woman, Debra Cooper, who was awarded the job she wanted. Upset, she quits her job on the spot and decides to take a little vacation.

Ethan has come to New Hampshire to help his widowed mother get settled. They decide to take a bus to Disney World, and guess who else is making the trip? Jill, whom Ethan finds attractive — even if she’s an accident waiting to happen. This bus ride won’t be easy! Jill and Ethan’s story is a hoot!

Their chemistry is hot, and Stacey’s comedic timing is wonderful in this fast-paced read that delivers on all counts.

5 hearts from Ellen at The Romance Studio!

The characters of Jillian and Ethan are very, very entertaining. Both are like people I know. Jillian is one of those people who travels through life under a black cloud. She means well but chaos seems to follow her around. Ethan is a fairly rigid individual. He doesn’t handle change well, much less chaos. He finds Jillian infuriating. It creates a lot of humor when those two are thrown together and have to rely on each other to get out of the mess they find themselves in. They consider having a vacation fling. The possibilities of passion and love are very surprising. Will each of them give love and trust a chance? This book is an entertaining story with great humor. I recommend it to everyone.

4 blue ribbons from Laurie at Romance Junkies!

Shannon Stacey has given her readers a story that is lighthearted, but not at the expense of sensuality and heartfelt passion. TWICE UPON A ROADTRIP shines with touches of realistic human emotion between a man and woman who are attempting to resolve all questions as to whether they are willing to take a chance on love. I have no problem giving this book a very high recommendation.

4 stars from Ann Lee at Just Erotic Romance Reviews!

Twice Upon a Roadtrip is a fun, sexy book about a fling during a road trip. Jill can’t really deal with stress and conflict. Whenever things get dicey, she high tails it out of there. She thinks that a fling with Ethan is just perfect. No strings attached. Imagine her surprise when she begins to think about a future with him. As they manage to find themselves in one disaster after another, Jill starts to wonder how she will deal with life without Ethan. While I was reading the book, I could actually see how the right man can change your attitude about life and marriage. When Ethan meets Jill, he finds that he is attracted to her sassy attitude. He wants the wife, the kids, the whole nine yards which is the exact opposite of Jill. But how boring is that? Jill excites him and he knows that life with her will never be boring. The verbal sparring between Jill and Ethan was funny and witty. They seemed very comfortable with each other during their conversations and their sexual chemistry was pretty hot from the very beginning. It’s pretty ironic considering they didn’t start off on the right foot. The sex is frisky, fun, playful and most importantly hot. I guess all that sexual tension came in handy in the bedroom. Twice Upon a Roadtrip is a wonderful debut novel by Ms. Stacey. I expect great things from this up and coming author.

4 cups from Anya Khan at Coffee Time Romance!

Twice Upon a Roadtrip is a funny and clever romance. Just when I think I cannot stand him, Ethan does something so perfect and I love his character all over again. The way his mind works is hilarious, and his anger at the things he cannot control is wonderful. The great dialogue demonstrates Ethan and Jill’s predicaments perfectly. The secondary characters fit into the storyline well, and the trip backdrop gives the story depth. The sex is well written and exciting, and a wonderful glimpse into Jill and Ethan’s personalities. The whole story works well to build a cute and funny vacation romance.

From Holly at Romance Reviews Today!

Shannon Stacey has penned a funny, hot tale that sizzles with witty dialogue. TWICE UPON A ROAD TRIP is one expedition few can only imagine. The situations Jill and Ethan get into might appear implausible, but it will keep readers in stitches. Definitely a book high on the entertainment scale. The love scenes are straightforwardly steamy and the sparks between them fly, but once their vacation fling is over, what happens next? I had fun reading TWICE UPON A ROAD TRIP and highly recommend it.

From Annabelle of Joyfully Reviewed:

Twice Upon a Roadtrip is a fun and sexy romp. Jill and Ethan’s antics are laugh-out-loud funny. These two find themselves in one hilarious situation after another. Their bickering and personal problems are very realistically drawn. There were times that I wanted Jill to grow a spine and smack Ethan for his constant snippy jabs. Jill and Ethan redeem themselves, however, by confronting their insecurities and bravely following their hearts.

Ms. Stacey’s first novel is well written and engaging. Clever plotting and realistic dialogue distinguish Ms. Stacey’s writing style. If you are a fan of contemporary romantic comedy, you will enjoy Twice Upon a Roadtrip.

A.M. Love of Erotic Escapades says:

This was a great read. It had a lot of laughs; real characters that the reader could connect with, great sex scenes that made you smile, laugh, and pant! Things that are too often forgotten in the bedroom.

The main emotion that I felt while reading this was laughter, I smiled throughout the whole thing. There are other emotions, including some saddest in certain parts, but I digress. It all works out in the end.

Shannon Stacey’s writing flows very well. Everything fit together nicely, with no jumbles or jumps in the story, I’d definitely read another book by her.
