Why April is the longest month

Oh, April. It’s a month that starts with one of my least favorite days of the year (April Fool’s Day) and just seems to never end. The Short Kid’s mud rant

I realized this weekend that I have almost fifteen hundred photos on my phone waiting for me to move them to a computer. Ouch. But when I got back from vacation I bought a new laptop and, other than throwing Word on it, I haven’t set it up yet. Another season comes to an end

Yesterday, we winterized our camper, loaded up the ATVs (and a season’s worth of accumulated debris) and said goodbye for the winter. Some years, I’m ready to be done with the back and forth and bags of very dirty laundry and lists. This year, I got pretty weepy. There was too much going on this summer and fall, and the middle of October came too soon.
