I have a gorgeous cover for my June 4th release, Slow Summer Kisses, which is a novella from Carina Press.

In a fun, awesome, crazy turn of events, Jaci and I got to have Publishers Marketplace announcements at the same time!

I am so freaking happy about this. I love this series and Changing the Game was one of my favorite books of last year. I’m so glad there will be more!

Today Sean and Emma join Joe & Keri and Kevin & Beth on the bookstore shelves! I can’t wait to drive down to the big city this weekend and see all three books in the series on the BAM shelf together.

Friday check-in and book stuff

Lost one pound this week and I’m happy with that. I ate some Not Very Good Things to make up for last week and, besides slipping on my “eat breakfast every day” resolution, I got frustrated with tracking and skipped a little bit. If what I’m eating doesn’t come with a nutrition label, I have a really hard time figuring out points. But I’m going to do better this week. I’ve also been poking around the Skinnytaste website because the recipes have the Points+ values. Websites with healthy foods are usually a bust for me because most of the recipes are very vegetable and/or fish heavy and I can’t find anything we’ll eat. Skinnytaste has some good, family-friendly recipes, though.

Very random miscellaneous stuff

I watched the Grammy Awards off and on last night and thought, overall, it was a dreadfully awful production. I’m happy for Adele, even though I think the only song I’ve ever really listened to is “Rolling in the Deep” and it’s the percussion that sucks me in. And I adore Lady Antebellum, but I’m so tired of them winning every single thing. I got to see Jason Aldean, though, which makes it all good.

Once Upon A Time is still knocking my socks off. Such a brilliant show! I’d like to see Red’s backstory pretty soon.

We watched The River and we’re conflicted. On the surface it’s pretty stupid. But it got really creepy in the second half and we might give it another episode.

Survivor comes back Wednesday and The Amazing Race on Sunday! YES!

And Yours To Keep was an honorable mention for Funniest Romance in the AAR Annual Readers Poll!

This morning I found out my box of Yours To Keep author copies had been left on my neighbor’s porch (freezing rain storm, covered porch and no stairs—she wins) but it was way too icy for me to carry the box in.

I came inside, made more coffee, and fired up the computer. But that box was calling to me and I just couldn’t stand it being out there, so I put on my husband’s snowmobiling boots and went to haul in my shiny author copies. Luckily, I managed to get it inside without breaking any bones or dumping the whole shebang in a snow bank. Which means…pictures!
