A quirky little milestone

I did a little happy dance with accompanying squee tonight, though I kept the dance part subtle and the squee was silent because I was in public. I’ve been very lucky over the last several years. I’ve hit the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists and this year Exclusively Yours was an RT Reviewers Choice Award nominee for Best Contemporary Romance.

Tonight’s little milestone doesn’t really compare, but every time I’ve had a shiny new Kowalski paperback release, I’ve checked my local Walmart, only to be disappointed. I’ve seen them on the shelves down in the city, both at BAM and Target, but not my Walmart.

But now—finally—they’ve succumbed to the Kowalskis and there was All He Ever Desired.

Book on Walmart shelf

I must admit, it made my day!

Yay! My Walmart has greatly reduced the number of books they carry, so I tend to order directly from the Harlequin site.

    Shannon, Woo Hoo!!!!! :-)

Our Walmart is like yours Library Addict, that is why I love my Kindle.

Our Walmart did the same, carrying mostly only Nora and a lot of reissues by known authors, along with the category romances. That’s why I had an extra big (silent) squee to see Ryan made the cut. ;)

That is awesome–particularly when one considers how greatly reduced the book section is in most Walmarts. Congratulations, Shannon!

Congratulations! Very exciting. I saw Sean and Kevin’s books at my Walmart! So I’m looking forward to seeing this one too.

Yay you! So…Did you sign them? LOL

Ha ha Lynda the Guppy. How cool would that be to pick up a book at the store and, once you got home, realize it was signed?

I didn’t sign them. Walmart’s a little weird and the people who do the books aren’t actually store employees, so…I didn’t. Maybe I should and to hell with them. :D
