What’s your favorite BOO! movie?

Happy Halloween to those who celebrate (or tolerate) it! What movie most scared the pants off you? For me, Blair Witch Project. I thought 99.9% of it was stupid, but the last 10 seconds or so stayed with me for…well, it’s still scares me if I think about it. Spill!

I cannot watch Jeepers Creepers. That song. Just no :)

I don’t watch horror movies. When I was a little kid, The Poseidon Adventure gave me nightmares.

As for scary endings that stay with you, I still think about the end of season 1′s The Fox episode of Crimal Minds when Hotch and the team are sitting at the table looking at all of those wedding rings. Gives me the shivers and makes me sad, even though it’s a tv show.

    Oops, Criminal Minds, not Crimal.

Paranormal Activity!!! It used to be The Grudge but PA kicked it’s butt! That scene where the sheet moves back and where she gets dragged out of the room – Holy Cow! Both great movies though. :)

Paranormal Activity was a lot like Blair Witch Project to me. I was bored through most of both of them, but the scenes that did scare me, SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME.

A bed sheet moving on its own is a guaranteed sleepless night for me.

And I didn’t make it all the way through The Grudge. I started watching it. My husband fell asleep. It reached a point I realized I was so tense my entire body was starting to hurt and shut it off. I wimped out, LOL.

Another thing that scares me is the “say it three times” summoning thing. All my husband has to do is say “Candyman” twice and I’ll actually cry.

So you might be wondering if Beetlejuice scared me. I’m sorry to say it did.

No, no, no… the important issue here is… who won the costume negotiations?

(mostly because I don’t do horror–heck, The Silence of the Lambs rendered me sleepless for three weeks! No way I’m subjecting myself to that, voluntarily, ever again.)

    Happy Halloween!

I thought that chicken feet scared you more than any movie could.

Oh, I’ll blog about his costume today.

And yes, the chicken feet scare me more than any movie. But that also came from a movie. I guess I should list The Deep, then, since it gave me one of the most bizarre phobias ever.

The original “Psycho” with Anthony Perkins. That shower scene scared the living crap out of me.
