The Short Kid (kind of) rocks the ‘eighties

The Short Kid’s school does this fun thing toward the end of the Friday school day. Different activities and whatnot that enable the kids to mingle with kids in other classes. And, this year, they have themes. Last Friday’s was “Show Your Sports Spirit”. No problem. All I had to do was make sure his Patriots jersey was in the clean laundry basket, not the dirty laundry basket.

Kindling

I’m pretty blown away by the low prices on the new Kindle line-up. I’m debating on buying the wi-fi Touch model for my husband for Christmas and I’d like to buy my mom the 3G Touch model, but I have to make sure she’d use it first. A base model for $79 is a brilliant move on Amazon’s part and, if I didn’t have an iPad, I’d be all over that Kindle Fire tablet.
