I set my alarm for 5:30 this morning. Kate was scheduled to take her father’s arm at 6:00 am my time, so I figured by getting up at 5:30, I’d get to see the important arrivals. I was afraid I’d keep hitting snooze and sleep through it, though. (I’m so not a morning person.) Instead, I was wide awake at 5:15 and ready to sniffle my way through a fairy tale wedding.
I’m waiting for the balcony kiss right now and then I’ll be going (mostly) offline for some weekend family time. I hope you all have a great weekend, and I’ll see you on Monday!
I enjoyed the wedding. So glad the BBC had commentators who didn’t talk during the ceremony. Nor did they ask what IMO were stupid questions as some of the US comms did (from what I heard in repeats of highlights). I was so glad to watch the commercial free BBC feed on BBC America.
Loved Kate’s dress. And the children were all so cute. Love that they are acting like kids even in the offical wedding photos.
