Protecting the work

It’s a phrase I’ve heard a lot in the writing corners of the romance community: Protect the work.

In a post-festivities stupor

Whew. Between the Short Kid’s birthday and Thanksgiving, I’ve lost almost an entire week and CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!! Excuse my panicked outside-voice, but…CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!! It’s like a holiday-obsessed Paul Revere is swinging a Christmas bell and shouting in my head.

Boys and birthdays

Last night we packed up our cake and presents and headed to Ma’s house for the Short Kid’s birthday party. It’s a little easier on everybody to have it there so Hurricane WeeBS can be contained in her natural habitat. (I can’t believe she’s going to be three next month!)
