Very merry new covers!

Wheeee! Shiny new covers are definitely one of the most fun things about being an author. Here’s the cover for Holiday Sparks, my contemporary Christmas novella releasing from Carina Press on December 6th! (Back cover copy coming soon.)

The Last Hurrah

Columbus Day is a little bittersweet for us. It’s a four day weekend and the heat of summer’s behind us, so the riding’s great. (Although the heat of summer was a little too far behind us this year. Brrrrr.) Sadly, it’s also the weekend we have to winterize the camper which means the switch from family ATV fun to Dad’s snowmobiling fun is almost upon us.

I’ll be offline for the long weekend. Going to do some family-type stuff. And I’m going to read. A lot.

I’m going to finish Finding Perfect by Susan Mallery (the 3rd book in the Fool’s Gold series). Then I’m going to devour Meljean Brook’s The Iron Duke. After that, Warrior by Zoe Archer.

My Gene Hackman moment…or not.

So the night before last, I was helping TK finish his application to the National Honor Society. It was like pulling teeth. With plastic Bob the Builder pliers. Seriously.

Goodbye Randy Moss

(If you could sing that title out loud to the tune of Elton John’s “Candle in the Wind”, we’ll be on the same page.) Woke up to the news Randy Moss is going to be a Minnesota Viking. Again. And while I’m a jersey-wearing, eyelash-fluttering Wes Welker fangirl, losing Moss makes me incredibly sad.
