A few weekend photos

We’re home! It wasn’t the most exciting weekend ever, since we can’t ride the four-wheelers, but it’s always awesome to see everybody after the long winter. And we got some of the work-type stuff done before the season starts.

We stopped at The Basin on the way home (a place in Franconia Notch where water has carved the rock into a bowl-type thing) and at one point in the walk we tried to get the dog to pose with the Short Kid. She’s pretty fast:

And they called her the Blur:

Almost had her!

Finally, the boy and his dog together:

I’d like to state for the record that I noted the complete adorable-ness of TSK and Mini. That much cuteness in one photo should be illegal.

That being said, I spent 10 minutes being flabbergasted by the attire of TSK. He is bundled UP. Like. In a hoodie and LONG PANTS.

It is in the 90′s here. I have the sweat. It’s weird for me to think about Spring and hoodies and long pants. I know it’s not hot there but I sometimes forget you live in the antarctic. Especially since I wet jet skiing Saturday.

That’s such a fun series of pics and boy, does SK look happy to prevail!

Nothing like having to tackle the dog to get a picture.

That last pic of boy and dog, I’ll be printing and framing.

And it was almost 90 Saturday! Sunday, when these pics were taken, it was a little cooler, but still t-shirt weather. But in the Notch, it’s often cooler, hence the sweatshirt (why he chose his heavy one and not a lighter one is beyond me). I have pics from last year (or the year before) of my guys having a snowball fight in the Notch while wearing shorts and t-shirts.

Ya know, I may be biased because I’ve semi watched these boys grow up from my couch here in Pa, but those pictures would make an excellent dog food commercial. Or an ad in a magazine that’s how damned cute they are. Mighty Dog. I’d buy it just based on the pictures alone.
