He’s been hanging with the cats too much. Here is the evidence:
1) Adding fur to his person. Today the hat, tomorrow the entire body.
2) Sitting in a box. Total cat behavior. I bet he had to push the cats out to get in.
3) The tee shirt is a perfect example of cat humor. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn a cat had actually designed the shirt.
4) If cats had thumbs, they’d be gamers. As it is, the only gaming they get is pouncing on toes and dangly laptop power cords.
If you want this behavior to change, limit his cat time. Personally, I love cats and think he is total awesomeness!
OMG, you’re right! (And he did have to dump Jinx out of the box to get into it. She’s pissed, but without thumbs and another 60 pounds, she’s screwed.)
I don’t even want to know how he’s going to fur up the rest of himself.
He’s young yet. If he’s a patient sort, time will take care of that for him. If he isn’t, hide the clipping shears and the super glue.
hide the clipping shears and the super glue.
And forget “sit” and “stay”. Train the dog to “run like hell”.
:hide:
I used to do this, too. Boxes give awesome back support while gaming. And there’s the added bonus that when you involuntarily duck, you have cover.
Oh Shannon…this is so familiar…I miss my baby.
Showed hubby the picture and he started laughing saying he’s glad to know our son wasn’t the only one.

My kids will climb into any box (or laundry basket) left unattended. It’s like their Best Game Ever. Of course, same goes for cats. I think Annmarie’s theory is correct.
Nice hat. I have one similar to that so tell him Aunt Jaci thinks he’s cool.
Love his box barcolounger.
Some kids are in their own world. Really, you shouldn’t try to figure it out.
