A decade and a half
Today’s my fifteenth wedding anniversary.
Fif. Teen. Years.
Dayum. And in two years, there will be undeniable evidence that I’ll be old enough to be the mother of a high schooler. In four years I’ll be sharing my car.

Enough of that.
So yesterday the husband had one mission: take the tall kid to the powersports shop and buy him a helmet. That’s it. But of course the short kid wanted to go because the tall kid was, and I did mention the short kid’s gloves might not fit him this year.
Team Technicolor is no more. He bought them all new gear, and it all matches. Well, technically the short kid didn’t get a new helmet—he moved into his brother’s.
Yes, the tall kid’s now in an Adult L and the short kid (the seven year old) is in a youth XXL. I’m still surprised he can hold his head upright.
Now I’m off to brainstorm titles. And synopsize. :write:

They grow up so fast. Also, anniversaries fly past while trying to keep up with kids. Happy Anniversary!

Hubby and I always planned to do something BIG for our 15th. Like a real wedding or our honeymoon maybe. Except…it’s only two years away now, lol. Not as likely. So now we’re planning a giant cruise or something for our 20th.
Hope you guys do something special!

And I think it’s wordpress that’s breaking your smilies. Mine stopped working, then I discovered the smilie subdirectory (the folder in which they were all stored) had ben de-selected by gremlins.
I’m not sure how yours are set up, so I can’t tell you which setting to check, sorry.

I’ll look at that, Emma. I know when the update was done, the smilie subdirectory changed, but I’m actually suspecting it has to do with whether or not I’m using the visual editor or not. I don’t know.
And thanks, all, for the anniversary wishes! We mutually decided years ago that making a fuss wasn’t a big deal for us. I’d rather the three bucks be spent on a DD for me than a card. But the kids make a fuss, so it’s fun.
