The name aside, it&#039;ll be interesting to see how these go. Good worldbuilding in 10-15k is a challenge, and I&#039;m wondering how many authors will invest that kind of effort into something that can&#039;t be a series.

I told the husband about this and he asked me if it was a Canadian thing. Several years ago something was said to me that just about blew my head off until I found out Canadians as a rule don&#039;t use the expression in the same context.

I mean, I &lt;i&gt;assume&lt;/i&gt; that Canadians would say &quot;that bites&quot; in the same context we do, but maybe I&#039;m wrong. Or maybe they just found the &quot;bites&#039; to be a great play on words, which it really is, and nobody said it out loud.
