Update: synopsis is done

And I have totally forgotten how to write a proposal cover letter. I mean totally. The cover letters for my last seven books have been:

Hey (Angie or Bree),

Here’s (title of book). Hope it doesn’t suck.

So while cleaning my neglected upstairs (which is dumb because it’s not like we entertain company up there, dammit), I’ve been composing said cover letter in my head. After an hour or so, I have:

Dear (NY editor):

…Umm…

    That particular note usually accompanies the book. This particular “Dear NY Editor” note will be accompanying a partial.

    speaking of taking a rolled up newspaper and whapping someone with it….

    quit obsessing. you have several of these in your files. we all do. pull out an old one, fill in the blanks. don’t make me take all your DD away, woman

    They’re on the old desktop, which is in pieces in the train room. I don’t actually have one on the laptop.
