Snow, so pretty…so painful
Two-hour delay today. I hate those because they just totally mess up what’s already a sorry excuse for an internal clock. Now it’s 8am and I’ve already shoveled more snow than we had all last winter. And, since the husband was in a hurry plowing this morning, there’s a six-foot wall of snow surrounding my mailbox. It has to be hand-shoveled. By me.
But for now my fingers are freezing and my shoulder hurts, so I’m going to kick back with some coffee and glare at the snow mountain through the window. (Hey, if I was the Firestarter girl, I could melt the snow by glaring at it. Alas, I am not.) (Actually that might be a good thing, considering how many people would be coating themselves with butter on a daily basis.)
Anyway, for today it’s me, edits, and finding my needle of a mailbox in the haystack of snow.

Don’t miss shoveling snow. I’ve only had to do it twice this winter, and that was enough!

First time for me, and it wasn’t just snow, it was about 3 inches of snow packed hard under 4 inches of ice. Like trying to break up a sidewalk without a jackhammer.
