Why is it pouring on my parade?

My Patriots lost.

Apparently the stomach flu the Patriots were passing around is TV-transmittable, ’cause the short kid and I got it.

I paid $14 for Evanovich’s “How I Write” book. WHY? I haven’t seen font that big since I outgrew seeing Dick and Jane run. I think on some level it’s a fellow-NH author thing, but I’m willing to bet there are no Shannon Stacey books on her shelf.

Oh, and it’s tax time for the husband’s company.

    Hope you guys get to feeling better soon. And my sympathies for your Pats. Bowl season was a little rough for my Sooners, so I can empathize!

    Feel better, Shan! Not much we can do about the Pats, I’m afraid.

    LOL on the Evanovich comments. Too late to return it? I’m all for supporting local teams, but that sounds like a clunker. Get the Stephen King book on writing instead.
