1 — I walked by the Countdown Snowman yesterday and choked on my toast when I saw 18 staring back at me.

2 — When asked if I was making turkey or ham for Christmas dinner, I replied, “Huh?”

3 — When asked what we’re getting nephews/nieces/little cousins, I replied, “Huh?”

4 — When asked by short kid when we can get a tree, I replied, “After we take down the Halloween decorations.”

5 — When asked what I want for Christmas, I actually said…

…a new vacuum.

I must be broken.

BUT…I did get a short excerpt up on the page for In the Spirit! It’s releasing on the 19th, and it’s a short, fun, inexpensive—and did I mention fun?—way to escape the insanity for a little while!
