Enough is known ab out him to base a plot upon, but not so much that it's restricting creativity. Egberth was ousted by a rival after his father's death, spend a number of years in exile at the court of Charlemagne and later went back, regained his kingdom, conquered some other petty kingdoms too, and became Bretanwealda, ruler of Britain.
