I’m awake now!
Usually I pour myself a really big mug of coffee and fire up the computer to read some blogs. Granted, it’s not my sharpest time of the day. But I almost had a heart attack when I started reading this blog post at Writeminded.
Then I read it again.
Good way to start the day!
Red Sox tickets go on sale in 29 minutes.
The short kid’s been invited to a birthday party this afternoon.
And it’s fifty freakin’ degrees. (I keep waiting for a crocus to sprout between the snowmobile’s skis.)
And Wednesday is the day I get to dump this steaming heap of company paperwork into the lap of the accountant. So…hopefully Thursday will see the official beginning of my new year.
Did y’all know the deadline for having 1099’s to recipients is 1/31? I didn’t. Thought it was 2/28. Yesterday? Not a good day. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

Hehe, that was a mean trick to start a review.
But all turned out well in the end, like a good romance should.

1099’s 1/31
1096’s 2/28
I did them for 5 of my 15 years at the oil company.

I. Hate. Tax. Time.
I can live til Wednesday.
I can live til Wednesday.
I’m like the little engine that could—I think I can, I think I can…
