First review/A brief hiatus

I don’t know if NH’s been making the news or not, but we’ve had some major rain, wind and flooding. The southern part was the hardest hit, with homes gone and roads and bridges destroyed. My town faired pretty well, but we’ve all got wet basements.

So, along with some major household business, I’ve got a few things to throw away in the basement and some bleachy scrubbing to do. Nothing major, but I’ll be pretty busy for 2 or 3 days. So if I don’t get a chance to pop in, that’s where I’ll be.

I did get my first review of Roadtrip!

My favorite parts:

The characters of Jillian and Ethan are very, very entertaining. Both are like people I know.

That means a lot to me, because I wanted to them to be very “real”.

This book is an entertaining story with great humor. I recommend it to everyone.

And five hearts!!! :woot:

    Congrats, hon! Five hearts is right on target, I loved it :)

    And ugh on the wrath of Mother Nature in your area, but glad you and the family are safe and well, that’s what really matters.

    It was so exciting and nervewracking to get my first review. Thank goodness it was a good one or there wouldn’t be a Dorito left for a hundred miles!

    And it was nice yesterday, but the rain commenced today. :hide:
