After an unexpected, scrambled trip out of town I am now in the process of regrouping, catching up, consoling my confused kitties and in general trying to dig myself out. All before we leave for CT tomorrow to pick up the new toy.

In trying to catch up in the blogosphere……

Angie wrote a kickass RTB column with absolutely no warning and no time because I dropped the ball and she caught it in midair and ran with it. I have mentioned in the past that she’s fabulously brilliant, no?

Cece’s talking school shopping. EEK! I am so not ready to go there yet. And yet that countdown over there —> in the sidebar is haunting me.

And at Sylvia’s I learned about the publishers who lost RWA recognition. I have to say I was really, really surprised to see Medallion Press listed. (I didn’t link to their website because they play music and I hate that.) It’s not really clear to me from Helen Rosburg’s letter, if Medallion no longer met the requirements or if they didn’t give the information to RWA and so were removed. I’ll have to invest some time during my lunch break to reading further on the subject.

In the meantime, I wish my kitties had some other way to show displeasure than biting my toes at every opportunity.
