I feel pretty…
Oh so pretty…
(Those are the only words to that song I actually know. )
Look what the fabulously talented DreamForge Media team cooked up for me!
What do you think?
And in other news…
Starting this July, we will be introducing a new design for the eHarlequin.com web site and Community Hub. The discussion boards will be updated with a few new important features to make them easier to use and more fun to visit. During this update, the boards will be unavailable for a few hours on the evening of the 5th of July as we migrate our content over to the new platform.
What you need to know:
First, early in July you may start to notice changes to the eHarlequin.com structure (the way our conversations are grouped). These changes will be completed by the first week of July and will make the Community navigation consistent with the rest of the site.
Next, the discussion boards will be unavailable from approximately 11 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, July 5, to 7 a.m. (ET) on Wednesday, July 6.
Finally, on the morning of Wednesday, July 6, after the migration is completed successfully, the new Community Hub and updated discussion boards will be available for members to use again. All active discussions will be restored and available for conversation.
Needless to say, Rae and I and the others will be pretty busy for a couple of weeks.
AND…X has a blog now, which I didn’t know. If you have Blogger and know how to use the spellcheck, can you hop over there? (No, I’m not making fun of her…she asked! *ggg*)

SHANNON! Love the new look. Then again, I liked the uncluttered old look too. but blue is trés spiffy.
And ehq down for 8 hours? Horrors! what’s an O/C to do?.. and thanks for sending out the SOS on the spell check, although after the marathon posting today over at Smart Bitches, I’m feeling a lot less insecure about MY grammatical failings.

I feel pretty, oh so pretty,
that the city should give me it’s key,
and I pity any girl who isn’t me, tonight!
(La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La,)
(Maria, from West Side Story)
Just so we’re clear, it was my encyclopedic knowledge of Broadway musicals that kept me out of the military. I showed up for induction and the Sergeant called out “Clang, clang, clang…” and I called back “…said the trolley!” To which the Sgt. responded, “You can go home son.” For which I thanked him and left him a pair of tickets at the Will Call window.
Hey there girl, love the look! it truly looks tre fab on you! (blue is the new Black, you know.) Oh yeah, just so you know, you’ve been tagged
Ciao

Claaaaaaaaaaaassy! Although it gave me a heartattack when it first loaded - and the text was all over the margins and nothing was right… then I refreshed and started breathing again.
It’s lovely, sweetie!!! White walls, blue rug?

June 23rd, 2005 at 8:37 pm
I saw that, Perfessor.
Thank you, everybody, for the
on my new look. I’m still pretty ga-ga over it. How she managed to make a pretty site with the subtle sensuality I was after, while staying true to my white walls/blue rug self, is amazing!
I HEART DreamForge Media.
Can’t wait until you post another farting camping story on here ….not so much bringing down the tone as shifting it, see.
Waiting for me to stink up the joint, Kate? Sheesh.
And I don’t remember a camping story with gas. (Strangely enough, that’s the one F word you will never see/hear me use.)

Oh, and for Kate: I think we’re still hashing out the “social threads” on eHQ.

So, like, you get a new look and rest on your laurels? Blog baby, blog! Blogging is my newest procrastination–I need something to read.

Christine, you and I are birds of a feather, though I do find that blogging is really the only thing that is keeping me sane these days (and yes, to those who know me “sane” is truly an odd appellation when used in conjunction with me). Still, a-blogging I will go and I find that I’m doing it several times a day, on four to six different sites, and looking for more!
