No, not Streisand.
I meant to mention toward the beginning of the recent lull in the RWA Great Annual Brouhaha, that Barb, the president of the Chick Lit Writers RWA chapter totally rocks. Throughout the goings on (mostly on rwaorg), she spoke against the GS rationally, intelligently and eloquently.
I swear, even though Chick Lit isn’t my usual cup of tea, she was so awesome I almost joined the chapter anyway.

Barbara is, in fact, the most wonderful, supportive friend, and insightful, inspirational crit partner you’d ever hope to find. She is also incredibly talented, attractive and funny. She may, in addition, be an angel in a size-six Cuban-American hoochie-mama suit.

Oh… *blush* Y’all are being SO sweet. I said it on my blog and I”ll say it here– I was just saying what any number of people were thinking, and I’d do it again in a New York Minute. Even if it earns me scoldings.
