Renee, the last time I went to the NEC conference I ended up skipping a lot of the workshops and hanging out in the bar. It’s definitely the best part (and I don’t even drink. Much.) Okay, for full disclosure, I spent a lot of time at the Dunkin Donuts next to the hotel. :coffee:

Umm…okay, those are certainly changes. Time travel? Futuristic? So now we’ll have writers trying to figure out if they’ve written a really kick-ass Blaze, or a really sexy Bombshell.

If you change your mind, and decide to attend, there are ways to get the most out of it, and that doesn’t include being herded from one workshop to the next. Nope…stay close to where the booze are bing served.

Oh Lawd! I can’t imagine. I’ve only been to one RT convention, years ago (generally I’ll only go if they give me one of those award plaques), and there were some black erotic dancers there courtesy of Genesis Press after hours. There was alcohol a’plenty at the conference, and these guys weren’t whitebread, fancy pants erotic dancers, they were a touch nasty (I must admit, I was impressed when one lifted that chair with his dick). The white ladies freaked. Went and got the management in an extremely huffed, I-mah-faint over that big-black-dick tizzy. It was worth the price of admission alone.
